Exciting News for Deceived Consumers!

The very next day after posting my last blog post about counterfeit websites I had another customer come in that had  been burned by one. Well, help is on the way!

Steve Lang, president of ABPIA, announced last week that the Federal Courts have issued a temporary restraining order against 40 of the worst counterfeit websites and more will be added to the list. US Customs and Homeland Security will support in seizing the sites.

The TRO also allows the deposits paid with Paypal to be seized from these counterfeiters. UPS, FEDEX, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and others have been served notice of the court ruling as well.

Of course, it's not just wedding gowns and formal wear. This story aired last night on Fox News.

Obviously, these thieves aren't concerned about you, integrity or quality products. Sadly, innocent, unwitting customers will loose their money and get nothing in return as the items are seized in customs or reported through delivery services.

Fortunately, there are small businesses with big hearts that will there lend a compassionate ear and help you find a replacement in the time you have left.

Shop wisely and ethically!!
